About this Simulation

This virtual lab allows students to investigate transpiration—the process of water loss from plants—by observing nine different plant species under four environmental conditions: control, heated, fan-ventilated, and illuminated. Learners collect real-time data on transpiration rates and explore how temperature, air movement, and light intensity affect water loss.
